Do you suffer from a lack of confidence or self esteem?... Do confrontational situations make you feel vulnerable?... or, do you just have trouble getting the important things done?
One of the biggest responses to my "What's your biggest challenge when it comes to building your business?" question was confidence.
I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was.
You see, I've suffered from a lack of confidence and self esteem for most of my life. It was one of the reasons I almost failed in private practice... it's hard to charge what you're worth if you don't think you're worth anything.
I don't feel that way now, mainly because I've done a lot of work on myself over the years. As I saw results, my confidence grew to point where now I'm comfortable and sure of myself in most situations.
A lack of confidence can kill your business. If you don't present yourself as competent and confident then you're not going to instil faith and trust in your clientele, which in turn will make re-booking and retention difficult.
The deeper I looked into the role confidence plays in the creation of a successful business the more surprised I was that this subject isn't featured in all business building training. After all it is an integral part of success.
So fear not, this session will show you how you can 'appear' confident even if you feel like you're falling apart inside. Confidence is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets, and yes, you can fake it until you make it.
We also look at how to avoid confrontation and strategies to address difficult clients and inappropriate behaviour. Then we finish the session with look a procrastination, why even the most productive of us still get caught in this trap and how to work through it.
