The deeper I looked into the role confidence plays in the creation of a successful business the more surprised I was that this subject isn't featured in all business building training. After all it is an integral part of success.

We also look at how to avoid confrontation and strategies to address difficult clients and inappropriate behaviour. Then we finish the session with look a procrastination, why even the most productive of us still get caught in this trap and how to work through it.
SESSION 3: DISCOUNTING & DEAL SITES
Can I be totally candid with you?...

SESSION 4: PRICING, PACKAGING & POSITIONING
Are you charging what you're worth?...

This can be a tough subject and a question I'm often asked... "How much should I charge?"

There are many factors to be considered when answering this question. I'd also like you to start thinking outside the box, go beyond the one dimensional pricing structure and look at offering a number of packages.

By combining your treatments with other complementary services, products and classes you can leverage your time and maximize your income.

I'll discuss the psychology of pricing and why you should never lead with your lowest priced option.

Packaging goes beyond just giving your clientele options... it's about providing a pathway, a progressive service offering that will help them maintain their health and well being.

The fees you charge position you in the marketplace. Specialists and experts charge more than general practitioners. The public expects to pay more for specialized treatments and more reliable, predictable outcomes.

If you want to be seen in a noisy marketplace the way you position yourself in relation to your service offerings and pricing is extremely important.

This is a very comprehensive session where I share a number of options with you. You don't have to implement everything I discuss in this session and honestly I'd prefer it if you didn't... once you get into the session you'll see why...
SESSION 5: CRAFTING YOUR MARKETING MESSAGE
Do people know what you do?

I mean, really know what you do...

Most people have a general idea of what massage, or acupuncture, or herbalism is... but are the benefits of your treatments clear to them?

Does the average person on the street know that acupuncture can help with fertility? That remedial massage can help with sciatica? Or naturopathy can help with allergies?

Why are the majority of the population still going to the GP for advise and pharmaceutical drugs for problems that could be effectively addressed using traditional medicine... without the harmful side effects?

Because the majority of the population are totally unaware of the benefits traditional therapies provide.

Look at your marketing material... your business card... your website...

Who is it talking to?

Is it full of techno babble and industry speak? Words and phrases only another therapist would understand... or does it relate the benefits of your treatments at a glance?
