The deeper I looked into the role confidence plays in the creation of a successful business the more surprised I was that this subject isn't featured in all business building training. After all, it is an integral part of success.

So fear not, this session will show you how you can 'appear' confident even if you feel like you're falling apart inside. Confidence is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets, and yes, you can fake it until you make it.

We also look at how to avoid confrontation and strategies to address difficult clients and inappropriate behavior. Then we finish the session with a look at procrastination, why even the most productive of us still get caught in this trap and how to work through it.

This can be a tough subject and a question I'm often asked... "How much should I charge?"

There are many factors to be considered when answering this question. I'd also like you to start thinking outside the box, go beyond the one-dimensional pricing structure and look at offering a number of packages.

I'll discuss the psychology of pricing and why you should never lead with your lowest priced option.

The fees you charge position you in the marketplace. Specialists and experts charge more than general practitioners. The public expects to pay more for specialized treatments and more reliable, predictable outcomes.

Do people know what you do?

I mean, really know what you do...

Most people have a general idea of what massage, or acupuncture, or herbalism is... but are the benefits of your treatments clear to them?

Does the average person on the street know that acupuncture can help with fertility? That remedial massage can help with sciatica? Or naturopathy can help with allergies?

Why are the majority of the population still going to the GP for advice and pharmaceutical drugs for problems that could be effectively addressed using traditional medicine... without the harmful side effects?

When I was in private practice I built a referral network of specialist physicians, general practitioners, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and personal trainers. In fact, over 87% of my new clients came from referrals from my professional network and existing clients.
